We’ve heard your requests, and our fantastic development team has been hard at work to make this happen just in time for the 2025 tax year. After seeing how well our cloud version has been received in the UK, we can’t wait to bring the same top-notch innovation and convenience to all our Irish users.

Alongside having the same features as the desktop version, the cloud software introduces several enhancements made possible by cloud technology, including:

  • Access from anywhere: Log in to BrightPay anytime and anywhere with an internet connection. Simply open your browser to get started.
  • Multi-user access: Allow multiple users to access and work on the same payroll file simultaneously.
  • Real-time changes: Any updates to a payroll file are immediately visible to other logged-in users.
  • Automatic updates: The software will automatically update to the newest version, meaning any changes such as updates to things like National Insurance rates or the minimum wage, will be automatically updated in the software, with no need for you to take any action.
  • Automatic data backups: BrightPay continuously saves the latest version of your payroll data as you work.
  • Secure data hosting: Data is securely hosted on a remote server, rather than your local desktop, ensuring robust security measures.
  • Employee Self-Service Portal: Included with all licenses, this portal allows employees to view payslips and documents, check the leave calendar, request annual leave, and update personal information.
